Danielle Gonsalves is the Founder and Event Planner of GTA Catholic Events, a Catholic ministry established in 2013 that creates opportunities for adults to deepen their faith through community, retreats, pilgrimages, and meaningful fellowship.

With a passion for bringing people closer to Christ, Danielle organizes pilgrimages to renowned shrines and sacred destinations, helping participants encounter God through prayer, the sacraments, and shared spiritual experiences.

Her pilgrimages are designed to be more than travel—they are opportunities for renewal, friendship, and personal/spiritual transformation.

Inspired by the words of St. Irenaeus, "The glory of God is a human being fully alive," Danielle's mission is to create faith-filled experiences that encourage spiritual growth, authentic community, and joy filled discipleship.

​Over the years, she has organized a wide variety of Catholic events, including retreats, volunteer initiatives, social gatherings, and pilgrimages, serving hundreds of participants across the Greater Toronto Area.

Danielle believes that a pilgrimage is a sacred journey that invites people to step away from the demands of everyday life, encounter Christ in a deeper way, and return home renewed in faith. Through prayerful planning and a welcoming spirit, she strives to create experiences where participants can grow spiritually, build lasting friendships, and discover the beauty of the Catholic faith together.
